1. Who this applies to

This policy explains how Luxury Property Studio ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data from visitors to our website and clients who submit photos for video production.

2. What we collect

  • Contact details you provide (name, email address, villa name/location, message content).
  • Photos you submit for video production.
  • Basic technical data from visiting our website (e.g. via standard hosting logs).

3. Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, produce your video, and communicate with you about your project. We process this data on the basis of performing our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or your consent when you voluntarily send us photos and contact details before any contract is agreed. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. AI processing & third-party tools

Photos you submit are processed using third-party AI video generation tools in order to produce your video. We also use standard hosting and email services to run this website and communicate with you. These providers process your data on our behalf as part of delivering the service.

5. International data transfers

Some of the third-party AI tools we use to process your photos may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards these providers have in place, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep your photos

We retain submitted photos for 30 days after final delivery of your video, after which they are deleted, unless you ask us to keep them longer for future projects.

7. Automated decision-making

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you. AI tools are used only to generate the video itself, based on the photos you choose to submit.

8. Your rights under the GDPR/AVG

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw consent for us to process your photos, at any point before your video is delivered.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

9. Children's data

Our services are intended for property owners and managers acting in a professional capacity, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
